Kain Waya

Waya means “all” and in Minahasa as in the phrase "kita waya" means "we all". Therefore, the waya cloth can mean cloth for all. The waya cloth is work of art inspired by coral reefs on a piece of cloth. The ocean is one of world life sources. Wide variety of living things can be found in the sea. Coral is one of them. The main motif of waya cloth comes specially from the sea, which are coral reefs and mollusks.
